How to Change Battle Control
In Tales of Arise, battle control is the mode at which you operate characters during combat. There are three battle control modes which listed below along with details on their features.
| Mode | Details |
|---|---|
| Manual | Unassisted operation during combat. Perform all actions (moving, attacking, using Artes and items, etc.) manually. |
| Semi-Auto | Assisted operation during combat. Your character, for instance, will automatically move toward the target if you are not in range attack. |
| Auto | Operation is fully-controlled by the AI during combat. |
Changing Battle Control Outside of Combat
You can change the game’s battle control from the game menu while on the field to tweak how you want your character to act during combat.

| 3 | Press OPTIONS to open the battle control drop down options. |
| 4 | Choose preferred battle control (manual, semi-auto, auto). |
Changing Battle Control During Combat
Battle control can also be changed even when engaging enemies.

This does not help because I do not know which is the options button!
