Things to Do After Beating the Game

A number of features become available once you have beaten the game for the first time. Below is a list of all post-game unlockables and information on elements carried-over to New Game Plus (NG+).

Main Story Walkthroughs

Cleared Game Save Data

Upon beating the game, a cleared game save file is created. You can load this file to start the game just before the final battle. Note that consumable items, especially rare one like Omega Elixirs, are not recovered when they are used during each run of the final battle.

Additional 6 Owls to Find

A total of 32 Owls can be found throughout the main story. Finding all of them before beating the game, however, will spawn an additional 6 Owls to find if you talk to the Owl King. Locating these post-game owls rewards you with unique artifacts that allow you to carry-over many elements to New Game Plus (NG+).

New Sub Quests

New sub quests are also unlocked after clearing the main story. Many of these quests allow you to fight new enemies to obtain rare materials and equipment, and access new features in the game.

New Game Plus (NG+)

NG+ can be accessed upon beating the game. Note, however, that elements such as your equipment, money, character level, and statistics will only be carried over if you have obtained certain artifacts from finding the remaining post-game owls mentioned earlier.

Not obtaining any of these artifacts will severely put you at a disadvantage during NG+, essentially forcing you to play the new game mode as if you started in the beginning.
