SP Farming Guide
What is SP?
Skill points (SP) are a form of character resource in Tales of Arise that allows you to learn gain permanent stat boosts, new skills, techniques, and artes.
Since each character can learn a vast number of skills in the game, it is recommended to take the time to farm SP in the most efficient way possible.
How to Get SP
Clear random battles.
Characters gain SP in battle. Try to defeat as many foes as you can when exploring each map to accumulate SP and unlock useful skills throughout the game.
Battle results affect the amount of SP you gain after each encounter. Continuous battle bonuses are also triggered when you get good results in combat consecutively. Rare enemies which will reward even more SP have a higher chance of appearing when this effect is active.
Clear Sub Quests.
Doing sub quests also rewards SP along with money, items, and titles. Try to do as many sub quests when you reach new locations during the main story to accumulate as a good amount of SP throughout the game. You can even unlock more sub quests that reward you with more SP (on top better equipment and more money) by clearing pre-requisite quests.
Can You Respec SP?
You cannot respec or reallocate SP once you have spent it to unlock skills on the skill panel. Try to plan which skills you will need later in the game beforehand before using SP to acquire skills.
