Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima may have hinted a new trailer for his latest work to appear in Sony's State of Play live broadcast. The event is scheduled for September 24th, 2019.

A New Death Stranding Trailer?

Sony’s State of Play will go live on September 24th at 1 p.m. (GMT-7). Rumors are going around that a new Death Stranding trailer will premiere in the event. The action title from Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima may share the stage with Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II, another highly-anticipated game.

Game director Hideo Kojima posted a tweet on Sunday, September 22nd, showing what seems to be a new Death Stranding trailer in the works. Mr. Kojima has not elaborated at all on this. The timing, however, suggests that new footage for his latest game may appear in Sony’s live broadcast.

As confirmed on the official PlayStation blog, State of Play will be “weighing in at around 20 minutes and sporting a fresh new look.” The event will feature new game reveals, new content from PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios, and other game updates.
