Boss Guide – King Fernock and King of Maurias [Dragon Quest Heroes 2/ DQHII]

King Fernock and King Maurias

The King Fernock and King Maurias play as the bosses at the end of Grand Canyon. However, King Fernock and King Maurias can be quite deadly not only because of their attacks but because they are accompanied by other minions. When fighting the two of them, use the Focus Fire Strategy and take them down one at a time. Separating your attacks to both bosses isn’t a good idea.

The King of Fernock is similar to a necromancer while the King Maurias is the king of birds.

King Fernok is an undead type monster while King Maurias is a demon-type. This makes them particularly susceptible to light-based spells. If King Fernok is an undead type, try landing heals on him if it will deal damage. While battling the two, watch out for the Magic Marionette making their way towards you. They’ll come out every now and then. You can either take them down first or try using a monster coin to take them down quickly.

However, King Maurias will start flying into the air to rain down a rain of fire bullets. Dodge or jump up to smash him down.
