King of Maurias
A boss that shows an uncanny resemblance to Empyrea of Dragon Quest 8, King of Maurias looks like the godbird. Due to its heavy influence from Empyrea, it has a huge avian head dyed in deep purple. However what separates it is that it has an odd slithering tongue, and limbs which resemble that of a lion’s. When encountered, it appears alongside King Fernok.

Strategy
After you defeat King Fernok, you will focus on taking out the King of Maurias. Majority of the battle shows it levitating from the ground with its huge pair of wings. When Carver is running low on HP control him and use Meditation to restore some health. Switch out to Maya and keep dealing damage with a variety of damage dealing moves then alternate with Carver to perform combos to sap the enemy’s HP with a flurry of attacks.
This Boss Battle consists of 2 Cycles. It is best to summon a companion using Monster coins to deal heavy damage. When the boss’s HP falls after some time, more enemies will join the fray, be sure to keep the party’s HP replenished with Meena’s Multiheal when the odds are not in your favor.
