Best Weapon for Mario
Lazy Shell
The Lazy Shell is the best weapon for Mario, granting him a massive 90 Attack Power. The actual damage numbers achieved with the Lazy Shell, however, tend to fluctuate greatly, as it has a massive random variance of up to 40 points above and below. Despite this, the weapon still far surpasses those available to Mario towards the game’s late stages.
The Lazy Shell is also obtained quicker than most of the strongest armaments for the other characters, allowing Mario to become an offensive powerhouse earlier than his allies.
How to Get the Lazy Shell
The earliest you can get the Lazy Shell is after defeating Valentina. Give the Seed and Fertilizer to the Gardener at Rose Town. After planting the Seed, it will grow into a beanstalk that you can climb to reach the area where the Lazy Shell is.
Alternative: Lucky Hammer
The Lucky Hammer is another good weapon for Mario. Despite having 0 Attack Power, you gain a chance to obtain a Lucky Bonus Flower for timed hits. This makes it a useful weapon to have when farming Coins and EXP triggered via the Lucky bonus game as it can double the amount you earn for each resource in battle.
How to Get the Lucky Hammer
The Lucky Hammer can be purchased for 123 Coins at Seaside Town after defeating Speardovich.

How to Get the Stella 023
The Stella 023 is obtained by defeating Engine 023 Booster (post-game rematch) in Booster Tower.
