Super Mario RPG Remake All Boss Rematches and Rewards List
- Use Geno Boost to buff Mario’s Ultra Jump damage output.
- Inflict sleep on the Exhausted Tortes to prevent them from lighting all of the boss’ candles.
- Put out the candles using normal attacks.
- Stock up on healing items.
Use Geno Boost to buff Mario’s Ultra Jump damage output.
Rematch Bundt and Raspberry are weak to Jump attacks so maximize your damage numbers with Mario’s Ultra Jump by having Geno buff him with Geno Boost.
Inflict sleep on the Tortes to prevent them from lighting all of the boss’ candles.
Rematch Bundt and Raspberry have access to a powerful party-wide attack called Celebration Shot that can easily wipe out the team. To prevent the boss from using it, stop the Exhausted Tortes from lighting all of the cake’s candles by having Peach cast Sleepy Time on them.
Put out the candles using normal attacks.
Having two Exhausted Tortes accompanying Rematch Bundt and Raspberry means they will be able to light the candles faster than with the original boss encountered during the story. Be sure to put the candles out using normal attacks so that the boss will not be able to fire Celebration Shot during the fight.
Stock up on healing items.
It never hurts to bring some Pick Me Ups and other healing items for emergencies so you can turn the fight around if things go wrong.

Post-game battles against enhanced versions of various story bosses.
Boss Rematch battles are special battles that allow you to fight more powerful versions of certain story bosses after beating the game. These post-game bosses have increased HP, damage output, and have brand new moves that make them even more challenging to take down than their weaker counterparts.

How to Unlock Boss Rematch Battles
Head to Marrymore Hotel after beating the game to begin Boss Rematch battles.
To begin the post-game Rematch Battles, head to the Marrymore Hotel after getting the Stay Voucher from Toad. Spending the night at the hotel will then trigger new story events that lets you return to previous areas to battle enhanced versions of bosses in the game.
