Fourth Star Piece Walkthrough for Super Mario RPG Remake
Star Piece 4 Walkthrough Summary
The fourth Star Piece is obtained in the deepest area of Star Hill. You do not have to take down any bosses in this area, though there will two boss battles you need to clear prior to reaching it.

| 10 | Return to Mushroom Kingdom and recruit Peach. |
| 11 | Talk to Frogfucius at Tadpole Pond. |
| 12 | Examine the Star Flower at Star Hill to open the door. |
| 13 | Proceed through Star Hill to find the fourth Star Piece. |
Fourth Star Piece Walkthrough Tips
Locked rooms in Booster Tower containing equipment for Bowser.
There is a key you can get in the room with pictures of Booster’s ancestors in Booster Tower. Another key can be found in the room with lots of Frog Coins.
You can use these keys to gain access to locked rooms containing a useful weapon and accessory for Bowser.
Save before doing Booster’s event.
Be sure to save before doing the curtain event that requires you to hide from Booster. Failing the optional event three (3) times will cause Booster to attack you, preventing you from getting the Amulet accessory from him.
Step on the switch at Booster Tower to gain access to the hidden area at Booster Valley.
There is a switch at Booster Tower that you can press to open the passage to the hidden area at Booster Valley.
Useful items such as Frog Coins and Croaka Colas are found here so be sure to loot them when you enter.
Collect FP in the Booster Hill mini game.
You can collect lots of FP from the Booster Hill mini game. Feel free to save if you need to practice first so that you can get as many FP as possible.
Equip Fearless Pins before taking on Bundt and Raspberry.
Be sure to equip all characters with Fearless Pins to nullify the effects of Fear when fighting Bundt and Raspberry. The accessory can be purchased in Rose Town for 130 Coins each.
Fourth Star Piece Boss Strategies
Defeat Booster at Booster Tower (optional).
Use multi-target attacks to take out Booster’s minions first as you will not be able to deal damage to Booster himself if they are still active.
Afterwards, have Mario use jump attacks to deal damage to Booster until he is defeated.
Note that defeating Booster prevents you from getting the Amulet accessory that he will give if you help him get his doll back (clear curtain mini game).

Defeat Knife Guy and Grate Guy.
Focus on taking out Knife Guy first as soon as the fight starts by having Mario and Bowser use Fire and Fear skills. Be sure to have everyone equipped with Fearless Pins to ignore the effects of Fear when the enemy uses them on your party.

Defeat Bundt and Raspberry.
Focus on extinguishing all five of Bundt’s candles using multi-target attacks. Bundt can relight one candle each time he gets a turn so single-target normal attacks are not recommended.
Just ignore Chef Torte throughout the fight and keep attacking Bundt and Raspberry.
As with the fight against Knife Guy and Grate Guy, you will want to have Fearless Pins equipped to avoid getting inflicted with Fear.
