Mini Game Overview
The Mine Cart mini game in Super Mario Remake RPG is a mini game that requires you go through a series of course inside the Mole Mines while collecting Coins and power-ups in the shortest time possible.
How to Unlock Mine Cart Mini Game
Becomes available after clearing Mole Mines.
The Mine Cart mini game becomes available once you have cleared the Mole Mines dungeon while on the trail of the third Star Piece. You do get to play the mini game as part of the main story.

Afterwards, you can return to the Mole Mines and talk to the Mole man above the area to play the mini game as many times by betting up to 30 Coins to meet or break the current time record.

How to Clear the Mini Game
Clear each mine railway course.
One round of the mini game requires you to go through two different types of railway courses which are the 3D stage and the 2D side-scrolling stage. The details of each stage are summarized in the table below.

| 3D Stage | First and third stage. | You must steer the mine cart across the rail course to find the exit that leads to the next stage while avoiding obstacles or veering off the rails. Mushroom power-ups can be found around to increase you speed temporarily. |
| 2D Stage | Second and fourth (final) stage. | You must reach the end of the side-scrolling rail course to find the exit that leads to the next stage or finish line. Pitfalls are fund throughout the stage that you must jump over. You can also use Mushroom in this stage to increase your speed temporarily. |
3D Stage Tips
Avoid going off the rails as much as possible.
The most important thing to remember when going through the 3D stage is to use the brakes when approaching U-shaped bends as you will always veer of the tracks even at just normal speed.
L-shaped bends, however, cannot be attacked while gaining acceleration from Mushroom power-ups. You can, however, safely clear them at normal speed.
2D Stage Tips
Use Mushrooms to increase your speed.
Since the 2D side-scrolling stage does not require you to steer through bends, use Mushrooms as often as possible to shorten your clear time. Just be careful of the pitfalls that constantly appear on the course to avoid falling off during the race.
