Silence is a status effect that can be inflicted both to your party and enemies in Super Mario RPG Remake (2023).

What are the features of Silence status

Unable to use Special Moves during battle.

Party members affected by Mute will not be able to use their special moves. However, they can still execute normal attacks as well as use items during battle.

A high risk condition for Peach but low risk for others.

If support characters like Peach are afflicted by Mute, it will hamper her capacity to use support special moves during battle. This will waste your turn if you’re attempting to cure or heal other party members.
