First Star Piece Walkthrough Summary

The first Star Piece is obtained once you defeat Mack in Mushroom Castle. Upon reaching Mushroom Kingdom, be sure to loot all chests (including the hidden one) as some of items can only be obtained during your first visit. Do not forget to save at the inn for this purpose.

1	Defeat Bowser at Bowser’s Castle.
2	Defeat Hammer Bros at Mario’s Pad.
3	Save at the inn before heading for Mushroom Kingdom.
4	Find the hidden chest at Mushroom Castle.
5	After talking to the Mushroom Chancellor, open the treasure chests at the Mushroom Castle warehouse.
6	Recruit Mallow at Mushroom Kingdom town.
7	Defeat Croco at Bandit’s Road.
8	Help Toad at Mushroom Castle to get FP.
9	Loot the items inside the Mushroom Castle warehouse.
10	Defeat Mack in Mushroom Castle.

Second Star Piece Walkthrough Summary

The second Star Piece is obtained after defeating Bowyer at the Forest Maze. You will encounter enemies in groups throughout the areas you need to clear so it is recommended to use Mallow’s Special Moves that hit multiple targets whenever you can.

1	Travel from Mushroom Kingdom to Kero Sewers.
2	Use the switch to draw water from the canal.
3	Defeat Belome at Kero Sewers.
4	Clear the mini game at Midas River.
5	Talk to Frogfucius at Tadpole Pond.
6	Move via the platforms and proceed deeper into Rose Way.
7	Watch the event with Bowser at the bottom of Rose Way.
8	Watch the events at Rose Town.
9	Proceed through the Forest Maze.
10	Follow Geno through the area.

Third Star Piece Walkthrough Summary

The Third is obtained once you defeat Punchinello at the Mole Mines. You will need to go through the pipe dungeon connecting Rose Town and Moleville to clear this section of the main story.

1	Get Giro’s weapon at Rose Town Inn.
2	Head to the Moleville Mine entrance and watch the event.
3	Enter the Mole Mines. Step on the heads of the moles to progress through the dungeon.
4	Get on the jumping platform and pursue Croco.
5	Defeat Croco to get the Petit Bomb.
6	Open the blocked path using the Petit Bomb and head to the next area.
7	Defeat Punchinello.

Super Mario RPG Remake Third Star Piece Walkthrough

Fourth Star Piece Walkthrough Summary

The fourth Star Piece is obtained in the deepest area of Star Hill. You do not have to take down any bosses in this area, though there will two boss battles you need to clear prior to reaching it.

1	Clear the Minecart mini game.
2	Go through Booster Pass.
3	Recruit Bowser at the entrance to Booster Tower.
4	Clear the Booster event at the top of the tower.
5	Defeat Knife Guy and Grate Guy.
6	Clear the mini game at Booster Hill.
7	Enter Marrymore Church from the back door.
8	Pry open the church door to go inside.
9	Defeat Bundt and Raspberry.
10	Return to Mushroom Kingdom and recruit Peach.
11	Talk to Frogfucius at Tadpole Pond.
12	Examine the Star Flower at Star Hill to open the door.
13	Proceed through Star Hill to find the fourth Star Piece.

Fifth Star Piece Walkthrough Summary

The fifth Star Piece is obtained by defeating Speardovich in Seaside Town once you have cleared the Sunken Ship. Many useful accessories can also be obtained in the area’s hidden rooms so be sure so get them while exploring.

1	Get information on the fifth Star Piece from the elder at Seaside Town.
2	Enter the Sunken Ship in the deepest area of the sea.
3	Look for clues to the password while inside the Sunken Ship.
4	Enter the password to open the door.
5	Defeat King Calamari.
6	Defeat Hidon who is disguised as a chest.
7	Get the Safety Ring in the secret room.
8	Defeat Johnny.
9	Head to Seaside Town to get the Star Piece.

The sixth Star Piece is obtained once you defeat the Axem Rangers at Barrel Volcano. Out of all the Star Pieces, the sixth requires you to clear the most number of areas so take the time to prepare equipment or level up along the way.

1	Get clues on the location of the sixth Star Piece from the elder at Seaside Town.
2	Proceed along Land’s End by crossing the Sky Bridge.
3	At the desert area, follow the Shogun into the sinkholes.
4	Defeat Belome at Belome Temple.
5	Talk to Monster Mama at Monstro Town.
6	Talk to Sergeant Flutter.
7	Scale the cliff at the desert area with the Sky Troopa’s help.
8	Reach Bean Valley and defeat Megasmilax.
9	Climb up the cloudy area using Jump.
10	Talk to Garro in Nimbus Land and infiltrate Nimbus Castle.
11	Clear the stealth mini game against Dodo.
12	Get the key inside the castle and defeat Shelly/Birdo.
13	Head to the back of the castle and follow Valentina.
