Mini Game Overview
The Goomba Thump mini game in Super Mario Remake RPG is a mini game that requires you step on as many Goombas that emerge from pipes within the time limit.
How to Unlock Goomba Thump Mini Game
Becomes available after the reaching the Pipe Vault.
The Goomba Thump mini game becomes available after the second Star Piece and gaining access to the second pipe of the Pipe Vault.

To begin the mini game, talk to the Mole man on the left side of the mini game room.
How to Clear the Mini Game
Step on Goombas and Gold Goombas that come out of the pipes.
You must reach the target score of 20 points within the time limit by jumping on Goombas and Gold Goombas that come out of the pipes. There will also be some Spikeys that appear during the mini game that will cause you to lose 1 point each time you step on them.

Goomba Thump Mini Game Tips
Stay in the middle.
As mentioned by the Mole man in the mini game, staying in the middle shortens the distance between you an any of the pipes. This allows you to jump on a Goomba or Gold Goomba before they escape down the pipe.
Chain jumps by bouncing off Goombas.
It is possible to jump on one Goomba and then use the upward momentum you gain to land on another Goomba. This is one of the trickiest moves to pull off during the mini game and is usually only possible when multiple Goombas appear out of the pipe at the same time.
Goomba Thump Mini Game Rewards
Below are the rewards for clearing the Goomba Thump mini game and the required score (points) to get each item. Note that the Mole man will always add +2 to the new target record to obtain the next prize after you have beaten your previous one.
