How to Unlock Cliff Climb Mini Game
Becomes available after reaching Land’s End.
The Cliff Climb mini game becomes available once you reach Land’s End after obtaining the fifth Star Piece during the game’s main story. Note that you do not need to pay any Coins to play the mini game so feel free to spend time practicing as many times as you like.

How to Clear the Mini Game
Reach the top of the cliff as fast as you can.
You simply need to use the Paratroopas as moving platforms while making your way up to the top of the cliff. The time it takes you to do so will determine the reward you get at the end of the mini game.
Cliff Climb Mini Game Rewards
Below are the rewards received for clearing each Cliff Climb mini game mode within specific times. Note that the Troopa Pin (accessory) can only be obtained once in the game.

Once you figure out a comfortable route to scale the cliff wall, the Cliff Climb mini becomes one of the best sources of Frog Coins in the game. What makes this method even better for farming Frog Coins is that you do not need to pay any fee to attempt it as many times as you want to.
