Tutorial Battle for Mario
The Bowser boss fight is a one-on-one battle between Mario and Bowser. This battle also occurs during the early stages of the game and serves as a tutorial for the game’s battle system. Feel free to try out the battle commands and familiarize yourself with the battle system.
Aim for the Chain
If you want to end the boss fight, simply aim for the Chain behind Bowser. However, if you still want to try your skills and battle commands, you can attack Bowser instead.
Use Jump Attack
During the boss fight, use your Jump Attack to deal huge damage both to Bowser and the Chain. It is not necessary to save up your FP in this fight since you will have an opportunity to recover it as soon as the fight ends.
Damage will be nullified when Bowser’s HP drops to a certain threshold.
It is not possible to win this boss fight by attacking Bowser because if his HP drops to 50, he won’t receive any more damage. On the other hand, if you want to put an end to this boss fight, you should attack the Chain instead.
More Information about Bowser
Weakness
Because this boss fight is a tutorial, you can only use your normal attacks and jump attacks. Bowser will take damage from any attack, and there is no particular weakness that you can take advantage of.
Location
You can find Bowser at his castle, which is called Bowser’s Castle. It is also the first location that you will visit in the game. During this stage, you will not be able to make any changes to your equipment, but the game will let you try different actions and commands during the boss fight.
