- Use Geno Beam
- Watch out for the boss’ attack that will hit your entire party.
Bowyer can disable some of your actions.
Use Geno Beam
Geno will be available for this boss fight. He possesses the highest attack power among all characters in the game. Geno also has a skill that does not consume too much FP, yet deals huge damage to enemies. It is recommended to use Geno as your main damage dealer and Mario as your second damage dealer since his Jump Attack also deals a decent amount of damage to the boss.
Watch out for the boss’ attack that will hit your entire party.
Bowyer has a large arsenal of spells and attacks, including an all-out lightning attack that may knock down your party if their HP is below 25. Keep your party healthy and avoid dropping below 25 HP to survive the boss’ attacks and special attacks. In addition, Geno will not be equipped with armor during the battle, so keep an eye on Geno’s HP as he is also your main damage dealer in this boss fight.
Bowyer Skills and Moveset
G’night
A single-target fire attack that the boss uses. If you take huge damage from this attack, you might want to grind some levels to increase your HP and magic defense.
Bolt
This attack deals huge damage to a single target, and it is typically used by Bowyer whenever he disables your A button. Keep your party members’ HP above 30 to avoid getting instantly knocked out by this attack.
Static E!
This attack is probably the most dangerous of all of the boss’ attacks. The Static E! deals lightning damage to your entire party. Even though Mario and Mallow are equipped with armor, they will take around 15 damage. Geno, on the other hand, will take more damage since he won’t have any armor on during this boss fight.
Lightning Orb
The Lightning Orb attack deals lightning damage to a single target, similar to the Bolt attack. The boss typically uses it after disabling one of your actions.
Best Party Setup and Equipment
Best Characters
- Mario – Secondary damage dealer, and his jump attack can deal decent damage to the boss.
- Mallow – Support and healer. He can keep your party members healthy.
- Geno – Main damage dealer, and his Geno Beam deals huge damage to the boss.
During the boss fight, you will be able to use the 3 members above. It is quite hard to keep up with the boss’ damage, so make sure that you have enough recovery items before heading into the battle.
Best Equipment
- Any accessory that prevents Sleep status ailment.
Bowyer has a skill that can put your entire party to sleep. Therefore, it is best to equip Mario and Mallow with an accessory that prevents sleep. You won’t be able to equip Geno with anything since he will be joining your party as soon as the boss fight starts.
More Information about Bowyer
Weakness
Bowyer has no particular weakness, but he also does not possess resistance against physical and elemental attacks. This will make your current party members’ skills and attacks fairly effective against the boss.
Location
The battle with Bowyer will take place in the Forest Maze. Mario will look for the one who is responsible for attacking Rose Town, which is Bowyer himself. He will then figure out that the arrows raining down on Rose Town were from the Forest Maze.
