|
In this boss fight, it is ideal to eliminate the Knife Guy first, as it has lower HP compared to the Grate Guy. You use Mario’s Fire attacks and Bowser’s Terrorize to easily remove the Knife Guy on the battlefield.
In addition, if both of the bosses are alive, they can combine their attacks. Therefore, it is highly suggested to take one out quickly, specifically the Knife Guy. Make sure to equip accessories that can prevent status ailments, as the Grate Guy is capable of inflicting Silence and Sleep on your party.
Equip Fearless Pin on your party members.
Before heading into the boss fight, make sure to equip the Fearless Pin on your party members. Wearing the Fearless Pin will protect its wearer from Fear status ailment, and since the Grate Guy has the ability to inflict Fear status on your party, it is recommended to equip the item with your party members.
Inflict Fear on the enemies.
In order to inflict Fear status on the enemies, you must have Bowser on your party. Use Bowser’s Terrorize to inflict Fear on both enemies to reduce their damage when attacking your party members. Since the Knife Guy is weak to fire, use Mario’s fire attacks to deal huge damage and take him out of the battle quickly.
