How to remove Mushroom status in Super Mario RPG
Mushroom is a status effect that can be inflicted both to your party and enemies in Super Mario RPG Remake (2023).
What are the features of Mushroom status
Change form and unable to act during battle.
Afflicted party members with Mushroom status will change their form into a mushroom of a specific color. In this state, the petrified party member is not able to act during a battle (both attacking and using items). However, the affected party member will recover HP over time until the status expires.
A high risk condition for Peach and Mario.
Party members affected by Mushroom status will not function effectively during battle due to being petrified. Enemies can exploit this status condition by targeting essential party members like Mario and Peach making them not playable for 3 turns unless cured.
