Feed Baby Fat a total of 30 Yoshi Cookies on Yo’ster Isle.
In Super Mario RPG Remake, Baby Fat will turn into Fat Yoshi after you feed him a total of 30 Yoshi Cookies on Yo’ster Isle. Fat Yoshi can then be given more of the treats, causing him to reward you with useful items such as Red Essences and even a Frog Coin.

Baby Fat will only appear on Yo’ster Isle once you have recruited Bowser and Peach (thereby completing the entire party of heroes) and have defeated Bundt and Raspberry in Marrymore.

How to Unlock Yo’ster Isle
Yo’ster Isle becomes accessible after obtaining the second Star Piece (after defeating recruiting Geno and defeating Bowyer at the Forest Maze). Once you have done so, you can make a detour from the pipe dungeon to Yo’ster Isle before reaching Moleville to get the third Star Piece.

Fat Yoshi Rewards
Giving Fat Yoshi a certain amount of Yoshi Cookies lets you receive useful rewards depending on how many you have fed him. The items Fat Yoshi yields are listed in the table below.

Be sure to give the number of cookies listed above in one go or you will not receive the rewards listed. Any number of Yoshi Cookies given, however, will count towards getting the Frog Coin reward (a total of 50 cookies fed to Fat Yoshi).

Can be won in Yoshi Races.
Yoshi Cookies are the main rewards for winning Yoshi Race mini games on Yo’ster Isle. The number of cookies you bet on a race determines the payout or loss incur afterwards. In other words, the more Yoshi Cookies you put at stake, the more of it you can get for winning.
