Toadofsky Melody Side Quest Guide for Super Mario RPG Remake
Side Quest Overview
The Toadofsky Melody side quest in Super Mario RPG Remake requires you to help the composer Toadofsky in Melody Bay. Mario must play special melodies for the Toad maestro to inspire him as he struggles with writing new music.
How to Unlock Toadofsky Side Quest
Unlocked by talking to Toadofsky at Melody Bay.
The Toadofsy Melody side quest becomes available once you talk to Toadofsky himself at Melody Bay in the small section of Tadpole Pond. After speaking with him, you must play three types of melodies by jumping on the musical tadpoles (each corresponding to a note) at Melody Bay.

How to Play Melodies at Melody Bay
Jump on a tadpole to make them stop at a musical line.
To play a melody at Melody Bay, you must jump on a tadpole to make it stop on the correct musical “line” that appears on the water. These lines represent a specific note of a musical scale where they are played from start to finish once you reach the other side of the lake where Toadofsky is standing.
You can use the image below as a guide on how to read the sequences for each required melody in the side quest. Otherwise, just use the image of each completed melody sequence under each song of this guide.
