What it Takes to Survive – Find Cooper in the lava cave
| 1 | Head to the location marked on the map and watch the cutscene. |

| 2 | Proceed to the lava cave and enter it. |
| 3 | Follow the path further along the cave and look for traces of Cooper. |
| 4 | After following the clues, head toward the smoke pillar. |
| 5 | Examine the traces of blood for a cutscene. |
| 6 | Kill the reacher. |
| 7 | Clear out the freaker horde. |
Strategy
1) Cooper’s trail
The first set of clues to track Cooper is indicated above. Investigate it to find footprints.
Follow the footprints to the smoke tube. Examine it to find more footprints.
When you come to the traces of blood and dead soldiers, examine them as well.
Proceed to the direction of the smoke pillar to find more traces of blood. A cutscene will play afterward.
2) Killing the reacher
Do not try to take on the reacher head on. Having a good sniper rifle allows you to easily take it out from afar with focus.
3) Clearing out the horde
You can easily cut down the horde’s numbers by funneling them through a narrow passage and using molotovs.
