Boss Guide – Missing Lynx [Dragon Quest Heroes 2/ DQ Heroes II]

This article contains a guide on how to defeat Missing Lynx. We will be updating this as we go along.

Missing Lynx

A huge creature, the Missing Lynx is a ferocious boss monster that looks like a cross between a sabretooth and a dragon. It has wings protruding on both of its sides which allow it to take off from the ground to deliver crushing slams on unaware victims. Apart from physical attacks, it also casts fireballs from its gaping mouth to deal heavy fire damage. The party will encounter it during “Retrieve Zebion.”

Strategy

Avoid encountering it head on as most of its devastating attacks come from the front. It is best to prioritize on circling around it to target its sides or rear as those provide some room for recovery. Control Cesar and inflict attacks while your allies keep Missing Lynx busy to strike some massive damage.

Be wary of facing gusts of tornadoes as these have a wide Area of Effect. It is recommended to avoid being in the middle of the launched tornadoes as these will tend to concentrate on you, scraping a chunk off of your health.
