What is the Monster List?
The Monster List is a new feature introduced in Super Mario RPG Remake which is not available in the original version. Essentially a compendium of enemies encountered throughout the game, the Monster List lets you view data on each enemy type encountered in the game.

How to Unlock Monster List
Clear the main story.
The Monster List is unlocked once you have beaten the game’s main story. Along with the Sound Player and Boss Rematch battle, the Monster List is among the post-game content added in the remake and is tied to getting 100% completion.

Below are some of the information displayed when viewing an entry in the Monster List.

Note that the Monster List will be missing some entries as there are certain enemies that only appear during the game’s post-game stages.
Super Mario RPG Remake All Boss Rematches and Rewards List
Monster List Completion Rewards
Monster Trophy
Completing all data for each type of enemy in the Monster List rewards you with the Monster Trophy. The key item does not serve any special purpose in the game other than being proof that you have compiled all information on all enemies in the game.
Defeating the secret superboss Culex 3D is required to complete the Monster List.
Clearing the game’s hidden Boss Rematch battle against Culex 3D is mandatory if you intend to complete the Monster List. Culex 3D is the game’s hardest boss and unlocking it requires you to satisfy a few conditions as well. Because of this, try to spend the post-game stages acquiring new equipment to take eventually take on the superboss towards getting 100% completion.
