Level 10 Glowstone Quests

Below are strategy for each of the level 10 glowstone quests.

Tri Glowstone Strategy

Enemies

Each round pits you against Golden Baum in varying numbers. The enemies are weak to magic attributes which gives you plenty of room to work with. Choose among the magic styles that you need to train.

The enemies attack use strike and heat attributes to attack. Cover each of your styles with armor that improves their durability against these for survivability.

Slash Glowstone Strategy

The quest involves battling Chimera. One of the main issues against Chimera is that it can launch “Fang” three times in quick succession which causes so much damage. Between heat and pierce, aim to improve your resistance against pierce attribute to live from Chimera’s Fang attacks. The field armor is great to have for this reason. You can obtain field armor from 4-2-1 or 4-2-2 on hard mode.

Aside from having proper gear, you can also buy some time by having a jammer. Assign a style with stun to stop Chimera from taking turns. Choose stun skills that consume less BP such as Air Throwing or Feint of Swords.

Blunt Glowstone Strategy

Two types of enemies appear for this glowstone quest. The common weakness between them are slash and shadow attributes. It would be worthwhile to form a team with styles having those attacks.

Look for gear that provide slash and strike resistances to raise the durability of your styles. The enemy has access to waterfowl blade, an attack that cuts a vertical line. That being said, avoid using formations like Rapid Stream which lines up your styles vertically. Conversely, the enemies themselves are weak to vertical attacks. So having styles like Hector with Waterfowl Blade would be beneficial.

Jammers with paralysis can provide enough time to collect BP each round. Choose styles like Rouge and have him inherit Shadow Chains to take advantage of the free turns.

Staff Glowstone Strategy

Ifrit and Diablo are weak to physical attacks and sun. Avoid using other magic attributes since these are ineffective against them.

Some styles like those that rely on clubs are great to have for this quest owing to their naturally high resistance to blunt attributes.

Jammers are also great addition to the party. Ifrit is weak to any status, meanwhile Diablo is prone to Stun. Leave styles like Rouge to use Shadow Chains to make Ifrit waste turns while the rest whittle the enemies down.

Armor Glowstone Strategy

Form a team consisting of cold attribute attackers. You can also opt to include thunder attribute attackers.

Proper armor is important to live from attacks since one of the enemies behaves similar to Chimera. Light Armor with high resistance to strike is great to have for this battle.

Sakhak has access to confusion which can be tough to take down when left unchecked. Prevent the enemy from firing off ultrasonic waves by taking it out before it moves. Styles like S Undine is suitable for the job since she can channel a powerful single-target cold spell.

Gear Glowstone Strategy

Form a team that has pierce attribute attackers. Since the enemies come in small numbers, the best styles to choose are those with strong single-target skills.

Improve your styles’ resistances to slash attacks. Avoid using horizontal formation to avoid the enemy’s Whirlwind from hitting multiple members at once.
