Battle Quest Very Hard Strategy

Preparation

Form a team of styles that have a combined strength of 26,000 CP. Each style should have at least 5,200 CP.

Improve your defenses

Stack up on armor that provide a generous amount of Blunt resistance coupled with Crush resistance. Don’t forget to enhance and evolve them. Almost all enemies rely on Blunt attribute attacks with the exception of the Scorpion. Pair each style’s primary armor with secondary armor that also gives Blunt and Pierce resistance.

Very Hard 10 Strategy

Handling the scorpions

Scorpions can give you trouble especially if you only banked on Blunt resistance. On top of improving crush resistance as well, have a jammer that can make use of paralysis. Luckily, the scorpions have no status resists. Another option is to invest on either a Blunt or Cold attacker that can unleash high damage to knock it out quickly.

Have a Jammer with Stun or Poison

Night Flower appears in the final round. Take advantage of its weakness to stun or poison. You can opt to rely on poison to whittle it down faster.

Very Hard 9 Strategy

As mentioned before, pair each style with armor that patch up slash and pierce resistance. Don’t forget to enhance and evolve them. Use accessory from holy tower cordelia to enhance each style’s confusion resistance.

In round 2, focus on the enemies in front to minimize the chance of succumbing to confusion. Jammers serve to facilitate BP conservation especially in round 2. After taking care of the enemies in front, cast paralysis to buy some time for the party to gather BP and Overdrive. In the final round, activate Overdrive and pair it with high BP cost skills preferably all-ranged attacks to thin out the enemies.

Very Hard 8 Strategy

Armor plays a vital role to give each style survivability. Pair each style with armor that improves his slash resistance and then complement it with gear that boosts pierce resistance.

Assemble a team with the following attributes mentioned above. Pierce styles are suitable to help clear the first round, while cold or thunder can clean up the later rounds. In fact, all-ranged cold or thunder spells make quick work of the enemies the especially in round 2 provided that you have conserved some BP beforehand.

Jammers with paralysis such as Monica’s Shock Rush or Rocbouquet’s Lightning best in rounds 2 and 3. Alternatively, you can opt to stun an enemy each turn. Don’t use overdrive until you reach the last round and rely on picking off the remaining enemies that are not paralyzed. After completing round 2, immediately line up overdrive and unleash a combo on Despiser. Have a jammer inflict paralysis on a Lizardlady and pick off the other one with attacks. Finally, chain your attacks to knock out the remaining Lizardlady.

Very Hard 7 Strategy

Given that the enemies resist slash, blunt, and pierce, you need to form a team consisting of elemental nukers. In round 2, the enemy can pick off your party with confusion if you take too long to finish it off. Other than elemental attacks, your party must have at most two high damage styles to knock it out on time.
