Strategy

The strongest enemy type, Cyclops, fares poorly against pierce, cold, and yang attributes. Make sure to have styles that capitalize on one of those attacks. The formation that takes advantage of parry comes in handy for the chance to evade attacks. Having this formation helps even teams that struggle to land consistent solid damage by providing longevity. Jammers should also complement the style that makes use of parry to force an enemy or two to waste turns. Among the status effects, paralysis works well against many types with the exception of the Cyclops.

Round 1

Combine powerful attacks to reduce the number of enemies. Have the jammer cripple an the remainder and then proceed to refill the BP gauge.

Round 2

Use status effects again to slow down the humanoid enemies. Avoid using overdrive and make sure to have enough powerful skills for the final round.

Round 3

No use relying on status here since the Cyclops has strong resists to them. That being said, unleash a powerful overdrive combo against it.
