Battle Quest 10 Very Hard Strategy
Preparation
Form a team of styles that have a combined strength of 28,000 CP. Each style should have at least 5,600 CP and no less than 650 HP for each member.
Watch the enemy’s turn
You need to figure out which among the group of rats attack more than once during their turn. After checking, focus your attacks on that group and use as much BP as you would need to take it out quickly.
Improve your defenses
Individually, the rats don’t do much damage when attacking however when combined they can pick off your team. Complement your styles with primary and secondary armor. Below is a list of best armor to use. Don’t forget to invest on evolving and enhancing them before heading to battle.
Primary armor
Armor | Effect | How to obtain |
---|---|---|
Mobile armor | Slash +14 | Egg Exchange (2500) |
White Silver Chain | Slash +14 | Gift Exchange (10,000) |
Silver Chain | Slash +10 | 1-2-2 (Hard) |
Field Plate | Slash +10 | 4-2-1 (Hard) |
Soldier Suit | Slash +10 | 4-2-3 (Hard) |
Secondary armor
Armor | Effect | How to obtain |
---|---|---|
Van Brace | Slash +10 | 2-1-4 (Hard) |
Skull Mantis | Slash +10 | 5-1-4 (Hard) |
Power Grab | Slash +10 | Daily Shop (20,000) |
Have a Defender
A defender is suitable for this battle quest to prevent attacks from reaching other members as much as possible. Awaken the parry skill to reduce the cost, giving you more turns to use it consecutively.
Choosing a formation
Of course, the defender should be paired with a formation that takes advantage of taunt and drawing attention away from his teammates. Below are the formations that you can choose from.
Type | Effects |
---|---|
Imperial Cross |

Rising Phoenix |

Among the three, Imperial Cross is great for starting out. The formation gives the party an easier time taunting enemies and can get away without having to worry about vertical or horizontal attacks from this battle quest.
Have at least one Supporter
Fill the remaining slot or two with a supporter to heal the defender. The battle may take a while to clear. Supporters excel with defenders because you can keep the party alive. Look for a supporter with Dare to Hope to have a party-wide heal in case the supporter gets knocked out. One healer is enough but you can opt to have two tops.
Ultimately, it also comes down to luck despite the preparation. If the first turn gets messy, you can opt to retreat and return to reroll for better luck.

The formation relies on the defender soaking up attacks to give time for the attackers to pick off the enemies. Slots 1, 4, and 5 should be given to attackers. Watch out for slash and strike attacks. Training in advance is a must though the team might perform inconsistently because of the enemies’ behavior.

The party trades the defender’s parry in exchange for Dare to Hope for area of effect heals when the defender faints. Aside from the defender, other supporters are added for optimal effect.
Very Hard 10 Strategy
Start with all-ranged attacks
It is impossible to determine which group acts twice in one turn. Combine all-ranged attacks to reduce the health of the enemies quickly.
Focus on the enemy that moves twice
Watch closely which enemy takes more actions during the enemy phase. After figuring out which enemy moves twice, have all styles focus on it to prevent them from taking action. Each swarm has about 14,000 HP so distribute the BP cost evenly depending on the remaining HP of the enemy.
Charge Overdrive and BP
After taking out the swarm that moves twice, aim to charge BP and Overdrive for later use.
Chain a combo
When round 2 starts, unleash a powerful combo to pick off the enemies. If you’re using a formation that relies on parry, at least 4700 damage for each attacker should be enough. The defender must have enough BP to use Parry for 3 turns in a row.
Combination of the previous rounds
In the final round, you can employ the same tactic that you did in the first round. Get rid of the swarm that gets to move more than once, and then finish it off. The enemy can still overwhelm you if you don’t prepare enough. The defender should at least awaken his skill to have better chances of using Parry consecutively. Have the supporter keep the defender alive to prevent the enemies from focusing on the less durable attackers.
