Pokemon Trainer Lillie?
Apparently, a poster came out revealing the new bits and tidbits for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon. And one of them reveals that our little travel companion, Lillie, is no longer sitting on the sideline. The Pokemon Ultra Sun Moon teasers reveals Lillie’s new journey appears on the poster, showcasing her to actually desiring to travel to Kanto. Because of this, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon is dropping hints of Lillie having an alternative story line to that of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon. In fact, she won’t be just the stand-on-the-side character. But instead, she’ll become Pokemon Trainer Lillie.
How did this happen?
After watching the hero proceed with his journey, Lillie decides to pursue her goal to become Pokemon Trainer Lillie. The last we heard from her is that she decides to head to Kanto to begin her goal. However, as we look at the poster, there are a couple of clues dropped especially about Pokemon Trainer Lillie.
- The first thing being her hair. Instead of her usual flowing, let down, hairstyle, Lillie adopts a ponytail. Her ponytail, for those who look heavily into details, may signify her new Z-Form.
- Another detail to take note is her bag. Instead of her sling on bag, she now has a smaller, drawstring backpack that may contain her pokeballs.
- Nebby standing next to her in the poster may note that they have reunited after Lillie passed Nebby to the trainer due to her “not being a trainer”.
However, there are also some theories and rumors floating around that they may be in an alternative universe. Remember the encounter they had at the altar with Solgaleo or Lunala? That part then may have marked the beginning of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon.
When, what, how?
While it seems Lillie has accomplished her dream of becoming Pokemon Trainer Lillie, the next question is when. When did she become a trainer? How does she reunite with Nebby? When did she get back to Alola? All we know is that she departed one day to fully realize her dream of becoming a trainer. Unfortunately, we don’t know yet for sure when she completed her training as a Pokemon Trainer. We’ll only be able to find out when the game comes out.
Pokemon Ultra Sun Moon debuts on November 11, 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS.
