Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Walkthrough Story: Beginning your adventure and battle with Island Kahuna Hala.

Hau’oli City

• Wake up and leave your room.
• Talk to Mom.
• Go back to your room and get the Hat and Backpack before going out.
• Head to Iki Town.

Route 1

• Walk to the grassy area and battle Yungoos.
• Find Island Kahuna Hala in Iki Town.
• Battle with Hau.

Iki Town

• Take the path going to Mahalo Mountain Trail.

Mahalo Mountain Trail

• Help Lillie’s Cosmog who’s being attacked by Spearow.
• Get Sparkling Stone from Lillie.

Iki Town

• Meet with Professor Kukui
• Receive the Pokedex and Trainer Pass.
• Give the Sparkling Stone to Island Kahuna Hala.

Hau’oli City Outskirts

• Return to your house and rest.
• Meet Professor Kukui again who is on his way to a festival.

Route 1

• Professor Kukui will give a tutorial on how to catch wild Pokemon.
• You will encounter with the Ultra Recon Squad at the entrance to Iki Town.

Iki Town

• Battle with Hau at the festival.
• Get the Z-Ring and Island Amulet from Hala.

Hau’oli City Outskirts

• Return home again (Lillie will arrive in front of your house).
• Follow Lillie to the Pokemon Research Lab.
• Your Pokedex will be upgraded to Rotom Pokedex by Professor Kukui.
• Lillie will come with you to the Pokemon Center.

Trainer’s School

• Get Exp. Share from Professor Kukui.
• Defeat the four trainers at the Trainer’s School.
• Defeat the teacher at the Trainer’s School to proceed to the next area.

Hau’oli City Outskirts

• Tame the wild Tauros blocking the path forward.

Hau’oli City

• Meet with Hau again at Hau’oli City. Head to the Alola Tourist Bureau and get the Poke Finder.
• You will have a tutorial for the Poke Finder from the people at Hau’oli City.
• You will get the Lens Case or Makeup Bag from Lillie in front of the boutique.
• Trial Captain Ilima will appear at the Pokemon Center. Listen to information about Team Skull and Totem Stickers.
• Hau will give a tutorial about Malasada in front of the Malasada shop. You will then be challenged by Team Skull to a battle.
• Talk to Hala and pet the Tauros before heading to Route 2.

Route 2

• Talk to the old man about the Makuhita hiding in the rustling grass.
• Defeat the Team Skull grunts at Big Wave Beach.
• You will encouner the Ultra Recon Squad again.
• Meet Hau at the Pokemon Center.
• Talk to Ilima at the entrance of Verdant Cavern to start the Melemele Island Trial.

Verdant Cavern

• Complete Ilima’s Trial.

Route 2

• Professor Kukui will give a tutorial on Z-Moves.

Route 3

• Head to Melemele Meadow.

Seaward Cave

• Defeat Ultra Recon Squad Dulse (Ultra Sun) or Soliera (Moon)

Route 3

• Hau will challenge you to another battle.
• Head back to Iki Town by taking Route 1.
• Talk to Professor Kukui at Iki Town to start the Melemele Island Grand Trial.
• Use the Tauros Ride Pager and head for the Alola Photo Club in Hau’oli City.

Hau’oli City

• Take photos at the Alola Photo Club.
• Proceed to Route 2 and head for Big Wave Beach.

Route 2

• You will be given a tutorial on Mantine Surf.
• Head to Akala Island.
