Necrozma Type for Solgaleo and Lunala Revealed!
One of the biggest features of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon is the debut of the Necrozma Type. Necrozma itself is an Ultra Beast. It then changes into either Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma. And for those who have played the prequel – Pokemon Sun and Moon, they know that anything that comes in contact with an Ultra Beast goes insane. However, what would happen if the legendary pokemon fused with Necrozma?
Looks you’re going have to fight these guys again. However, with the power of Necrozma, they also gain a bit of a buff and power up. While there is no elemental change, we do know that there are some stats that will undergo some changes. For all we know, the Necrozma Type legendaries may wipe out a player’s team without breaking a sweat. But then again, there’s always a way to defeat a boss. Unfortunately, catching them may not be easy either.
But why fuse with the Legendaries?
As they are the most powerful creatures of the Alola region, Lunala and Solgaleo will make a statement especially with Necrozma in tow. Because of the presence of the Ultra Beast, they probably won’t come quietly either. As of now, the Necrozma type legendaries don’t have any differences from the originals. However, Necrozma’s personality may have transferred to the legendaries. Instead of the usual indifference seen in the other legendaries, Solgaleo and Lunala may become more vicious. It may mean also that they may take a more active stance in roaming around the Alola region.
Will they become un-tameable?
In terms as to whether or not players can catch them, it’s probably possible to catch them. However, it’s also possible that it may become a two phase fight. Instead of the usual dive in and fight, players must fight the Necrozma Type before fighting the original. However, we’re not sure as of now how the mechanics for that will work. We will only find out when the game comes out!
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon will come out on November 11, 2017.
