Chapter 3: Chartmoon Tower Walkthrough
Search for the Moon Elemental
Chartmoon Tower (Entrance)
|1||From your position, setup your healing, buff, and debuff items before engaging the boss.|
|2||Feel free to SAVE your current game through the mana statue in Duskmoon Forest.|
|3||Once you’re ready, approach Goremand and Ludgar for a cutscene.|
Defeat Beast Ludgar
Chartmoon Tower (Entrance)
|1||Watch a cutscene.|
|2||Defeat Beast Ludgar. Avoid the range of his moves while you spend and build up your CS gauges to damage the boss.

|3||You will obtain the seventh mana spirit, Luna, after the cutscene. Luna is the moon elemental mana spirit.

|4||If you’re playing Kevin, as your main character, you will acquire the chain ability, Beast Roar (Damage to boss monsters increased by 10%).|
Chase after Goremand Head to Lampbloom Woods
Chartmoon Tower (Interior)
|1||Go inside the tower and watch another cutscene.|
|2||Look for Lil’ Cactus #29 in the northwest side of the tower.|
|3||Once you’re finished, leave the tower.|
Head to Lampbloom Woods
Chartmoon Tower, Duskmoon Forest, and Moonlight Town Mintas
|1||Leave the Chartmoon Tower and return to Moonlight Town Mintas.|
|2||Feel free to level up your party within Duskmoon Forest and reach up to at least level 38 or higher. Make use|
|3||Enter Moonlight Town Mintas and reach the shore.|
|4||Summon Vuscav by using the Ferry Flute again.|

Locate Lil’ Cactus #29
Before leaving tower, locate Lil’ Cactus #29 in the northwest side of the tower’s interior.
Equip Moon Elemental Moves and Magic
After acquiring the seventh mana spirit, Luna, attach newly unlocked moves and magic to your party members.
Acquire the Chain Ability
Make sure all chain abilities accessible to your party are unlocked and acquired. These abilities include:

Focus on Hitting Blind Spots
Beast Ludgar excels in attacking from the front so your best bet is to get behind him. Head to the side or go around to his back and punish him with attacks.
Cast multiple debuffs against the boss. Debuffs can be in the form of attack decrease (Power Down), defense decrease (Protect Down), and magic & magic defense decrease (Mind Down). These debuffs can be accessed as innate abilities or consumable items.
Cast buffs to yourself and your party members carefully while engaging Beast Ludgar. These buffs can be in the form of attack increase (Power Up), defense increase (Protect Up), and magic & magic increase (Mind Up). They can be accessed as innate abilities or consumable items.
Keep Moving and Dodging
The boss can make use of Suzaku Aerial, a skill that tracks his enemy. Time your dodge the moment the boss stops chasing you.
Use Light Elemental and Summon Magic
Beast Ludgar has strong resistance to elemental attacks except for Light. You can also damage it by using Summon Magic.
Launch Tier 1 and Tier 2 Class Strikes
Use Class Strikes to deal more damage to Beast Ludgar. Switch among your party members to unleash multiple barrages of class strikes.
Break Blue Vases to Replenish CS Gauges
Breaking all blue vases around the area in order to to fill-up your CS gauges.
When Ludgar’s health falls significantly, he turns ballistic and causes more damage. While fighting him, make sure to heal your companions immediately after sustaining damage. Continue firing off some attacks while keeping distance.
