Guide on How to Defeat Archdemon
Archdemon is one of the final bosses that you need to defeat in Trials of Mana Remake. Archdemon was a boy who grew up in the depths of the dungeon and embraced the darkness. The Dark Majesty’s heart remains locked for eternity. The boss is encountered in Hawkeye/Riesz’s route at Sanctuary of Mana.

| Annihilate | Archdemon focuses on an enemy and incinerates him. The blazing explosion affects nearby enemies. |
| Blaze Wall | Circles show up on the floor and tracks the enemy. After a while, columns of fire come out. |

| Southern Slice | Archdemon summons a pair of dark orbs that charge at the middle of the boss area. If left intact, a large demon comes out to wreak havoc. |

First Phase
Archdemon excels in both strength and magic spells. Many of his attacks consist of the high tier magic, a trait he shares with the powerful Magician class. On top of that he has a low cast time making him a force to be reckoned with. He also swaps his attribute from time to time.

Below are the possible colors and effects:

After his approaches half, he shifts to the second phase.
Second Phase
Make sure to assign hotkeys so that you have recovery items like Honey Elixirs usable on the fly.
Archdemon morphs into a huge demon. In addition, a pair of grotesque hands pop out. When the fight starts, buff your party and debuff Archdemon to help the team withstand attacks.
The hands serve like copies of the boss, having both physical and magic attacks at their disposal. It can also be overwhelming to witness gauges filling up at fast rates. That being said, keep your eye on the team and have the hotkeys ready for use.
Take out the arms
Channel your attacks on the boss’ arms to stop limit the number of attacks he performs. Between the two, the left arm goes down fairly quickly so take it out first and then finish off the right arm.
Anticipate his Southern Slice
Archdemon’s second form makes use of Southern Slice, a powerful attack that takes time to charge. When you spot some orbs floating, quickly take them out to prevent the heavy damage. If you fail to stop it, heal the sustained damage immediately.
Dealing with the summoned demon
To make matters worse, after the cast not only does it cause damage but also summons a level 65 demon to the ring. Focus all your water or light attacks to take it out quickly and then get back to weakening the main boss.
