How to Farm Money (Lucre) Fast

In Trials of Mana, Lucre is the form of currency used to purchase items in shops and pay the fare for using the ship. It is particularly important to farm money in the first half of the game as prices will significantly increase during the second half.

Use incense

Incense can be used to temporarily increase the percentage of Lucre earned from defeating enemies in battle. These can be obtained from items seeds. The effects last for about 10 minutes so it is recommended to farm Lucre in areas where there are many enemies.

Broad Incense	Temporarily increase Lucre earned by 10%.
Rare Incense	Temporarily increase Lucre earned by 15%.
Opulent Incense	Temporarily increase Lucre earned by 20%.

Defeating bosses also rewards you with a lot of Lucre, making them good opportunities to use Incense before engaging them.

Sell unwanted items

A typical way to earn Lucre is by selling items such as unwanted equipment and offensive items. These can be obtained from planting item seeds. Sell as many unneeded items as you can if you do not get the desired weapons, armor, and accessories you want from item seeds.

Collect Lucre in the towns, dungeons, and in the field.

Lucre appear as small sparkling fragments when you are out exploring the game world. Collect them to earn small amounts of Lucre.
