Boss Strategy

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss.

Preparation

Bring Saber magic. The boss cycles among the three colors so be sure to have one of the following Light, Wind, and Dark enchantments ready. That being said, avoid using Dark, Water, or Earth in this fight.

Dodge the common attack

One of Dark Lich’s attacks has him swipe an enemy. Make sure to avoid it to prevent him sapping your MP and then close in to strike his chest with any of the above mentioned enchanted element of choice that he’s weak against.

Jump over the beam

When you suspect Dark Lich to use Lucent Beam, jump over to dodge the projectile.

Break the summon

Dark Lich’s most powerful attack marks the entire area while he charges. Aside from that, Dark Lich becomes invincible to attacks. Instead of hitting the boss, focus on the sphere that emerges on the field to stop the heavy attack from connecting.
