Boss Strategy

Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss.

Preparation

The quest to free the mana spirit Jinn should be done when you reach level 20.

Keep moving

Harcypete can be tough to attack because she flies in the air. You’ll need to chase her around the boss area to nail those attacks. Similar to regular Harpy, the boss has regular swipe attacks. However, you need to keep moving to avoid one of Harcypete’s Supersonic.

Wait for the attacks to expire

Harcypete carries many area of effect spells such as Air Blast. Bait for her to attack and then don’t approach her until the attack takes its course and misses. Now, while she tries to recover, immediately close in and punish her with your own attacks. Among the spells she uses, Cyclone + is linear which is fairly easy to dodge compared to her other abilities.

Prevent Harcypete from charging

After reducing her health significantly, Harcypete starts to use Supersonic, an ability that takes some charge time. When the boss area starts to glow red, close in quickly and whittle her down to interrupt the charge. If you do it right, not only will Harcypete stop charging but she will also stagger, giving you enough time to follow up with more attacks.
