|Target Areas||Face/ Flower (Immune to Wood)|
|Summon Silkspitter||Grapplavine calls for reinforcements|
|Bite||Grapplavine lowers its head and strikes.|
|Leaf Spire||A homing sphere comes out and summons vines to attack on the marked area.|
|Poison Bubble||A sphere pops out and then Grapplavine expels poison on the marked area.|
|Jet Blast||Rectangle marks appear and causes an area of effect on the marked spot.|
|Hamer Bud||Grapplavine spits seeds around the area. Once filled, the seeds cause a massive explosion.|
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the boss.
Focus on the boss’ face
After doing enough damage, Grapplavine’s head pops out. While Grapplavine’s slender body might sound easier to hit compared to its head, focusing on it does more harm than good since it resists attacks. That being said, you need to focus your on attacks on its face. Wait for the boss to lower its ugly head and then execute a class strike for some good damage. Shift between hitting its head and punishing its body to whittle it down.
Dodge the explosives
Grapplavine’s Hammer Bud skill covers a large section of the area when it sets the seeds off. When you see it coming, take out some seeds to clear a path to interrupt the explosion and then take off to gap on the edge of the screen far away from the large seeds until the explosion subsides.
