Class Change Items
Once you reached level 38 in Trials of Mana, you are now free to transition to another tier of classes. Unlike Tier 2, rare items are now required to successfully class change. Each Tier 3 and Tier 4 classes have their own unique class change item so refer to this page to avoid getting confused on the names of the required items.
How to Change Class
Once you reach the required level and acquired the right class change item, look for a Mana Stone or the Special Mana statue at the Sanctuary of Mana. in order to successfully class change. More information is written in our class change guide.
How to Acquire Class Change Items
Class Change Items are obtained from Item Seeds. Those item seeds that yield class change items can be gathered from dungeon treasure chests, Queeneebs (Woods of Wandara after rescuing Faeirie), and high-level wolf enemies such as Werewolf, Wolfiend, (Grislwolf in Anise’s Stockade).

Explanation of the class changes would be helpful, instead of standard/etc/etc/etc. Was going for Beast King as Kevin and got stuck with Annihilator. Please make it less confusing and be more specific on what to pick please.
u might need to fix charlotte she becomes necromance via light path as 3rd
I agree. The picks that they have shown do not help if someone wants to go for something specific at Tier 3/4.
Hello! If I understand, with Duran in class 3 I can choose liege and still get berserker in class 4? I was stupid and choose light path for class 2, now I don’t know if for doing that I can’t get the berserker. Everyone tells me to get the goddess scale but if it’s not necessary to get the class I prefer to avoid it.
Now where do you find these class changing items?
You can find them through the item “??? Seed”. They drop randomly through mobs, and can be in chests during the late game: after you rescue Faerie. Once you defeat about 5 Benevodons, they drop a lot more. Prior to defeating five, I found two in random chests in locations where you fight a Benevodon.It’s most likely RNG that they drop in higher frequency the more you defeat them.
I forgot to mention that you plant the “??? Seeds” at Inns and their class items are then randomly generated.
You can’t change class at a Gold or silver Mana statue. YOu can only change classes at the Mana stones or the Special Mana statue at the Sanctuary of Mana.
Impossible to change class at gold statue. I pushed every button many time attempting it but nothing works. All you can do is save game. This game sucks.
