When alerted by your presence, the Mongols will start killing the hostages they are holding. Pick off enemies one by one using stealth to avoid any peasants from being killed. You will be using Focused Hearing a lot in this tale, especially when leading the peasants back to the forge.
Take out enemy archers first
During the defense of the forge, you will want to kill the archers first as they will often fire when you are busy fighting melee enemies. Run up to them take them out before they become too annoying to deal with.
Be sure not to lose sight of the melee enemies storming the forge. Take them out if they get too close to the peasants and get back to killing the archers again.
Dealing with the Mongol Leader
The Mongol leader has very tough defense because of his heavy armor. A good way to defeat him is to have Yuna distract him, giving you a chance to throw a kunai. Follow up with a Critical Strike to deal big damage. Repeat the process until he is dead.
