Walkthrough

Join Ishikawa’s hunt for Tomoe in Otsuna – Defeat Tomoe’s archers

1 After talking to sensei Ishikawa, follow him to the washing line and talk to Ran. Afterwards, ride with the sensei southwest to the Mongol training camp.
2 Approach the vantage point and survey the area.
3 Take out the archers at the camp.

Search the camp for signs of Tomoe – Return to Ishikawa

1 Walk towards the camp’s exit near the targeted bodies to find some tracks going out of the camp.
2 Pursue Tomoe along the road leading to the cliffs. Afterwards, survey the site where Tomoe fell.
3 Head back south using the road you took before and talk to sensei Ishikawa at the training camp.

Strategy

Attack from the vantage point above the training camp.

The archers at the training camp can be taken out by firing from the vantage point overlooking the Mongol camp. They can also be dealt with by getting in close, though be ready to deal with swordsmen that are also in the area.

Use smoke bombs.

Smoke bombs are effective for charging towards the camp as you will hinder the view of the surrounding enemies, especially the archers. Use it to land critical strikes while staying mobile to avoid projectiles.
