1 Follow the Guiding Wind to Traveler’s Rest Inn.
2 After getting off your horse, approach the inn and initiate a Standoff to take out the Mongol warrior with a shield.
3 Clear out the other enemies in front of the inn. Leave the Mongol warrior with the mace for last as he is quite tough to take down. Bait out his triple mace attack to dodge them. Counterattack with three quick light attacks and repeat until he is defeated.
4 Head towards the inn by going up the ramp. Take out the Mongol guarding the door. Before going inside, get Steel x1 from the chest just outside the door.
5 Go inside the door to find a forge. Pick up Iron x1 on your left and exit the forge. You should hear Yuna as you walk ahead.
6 The Mongol leader will appear with two Mongol warriors. Focus on the warriors first before taking on the leader. Parry and follow up with light attacks to defeat him.

Find Yuna south of Kechi fishing village – Survey the Mongol prison camp

1 Continue past Traveler’s Rest Inn and follow the guiding wind again to a house near the river.
2 Talk to Yuna for a cutscene.
3 Ride to the overlook near the Mongol prison camp with Yuna.
4 Survey the prison camp by turning the camera until the crescent markings become full circles. Press the the × button to analyze three possible points of entry.

Find the gap near the camp’s gate – Find Taka

1 Approach the unfinished gate with Yuna and squeeze through. Watch the cutscene afterwards.
2 Approach the Mongol ahead and press the □ button to assassinate him.
3 When the flashback begins, just follow the bear tracks and examine the bear using the R2 button for a cutscene.
4 After the flashback, move carefully to take out the Mongol ahead and the one by the horse. Before taking the one in front of the roasted boar, wait for his companion to move away to the cell further ahead. Take out the first one and head left to a shelf in the tent to find Iron x3. Move toward the Mongol sitting near the cell and kill him. You can open the cell if you want but it is not Taka.
5 Head for the large tent up the ramp but do not go inside yet. Turn right and take out the Mongol in front of another cell. Open the cell to free the Straw Hat Ronin and talk to him.
6 Go inside the large white tent and prepare to battle a Mongol warrior dual-wielding two sword. He hits quite hard, especially his dual sword swipe which is telegraphed by the red glint. Just make him miss by dodging and counterattack with light attack to defeat him.
7 Get Conversations with the Khan 1 (record) in front of the throne before leaving the tent. Afterwards, exit the camp to catch up with Yuna and the Straw Hat Ronin.

Killing an enemy in a Standoff grants you three charges of Resolve that you can use to heal. This will help you survive the fight against the mace-wielding Mongol and the Mongol leader.

Defeating the mace-wielding Mongol

The best time to attack the mace-wielding Mongol is after his triple mace swing. Wait until he completes the combo before getting in three quick hits. Repeat the process until he is defeated.

Defeating the dual-wielding Mongol

The dual-wielding Mongol’s strongest attack is the dual sword swipe. Because of its tell, it is quite easy to dodge. As with the mace-wielding Mongol, dodge and follow up with light attacks to take him out. Note that the dual-wielding Mongol can do the dual sword swipe at the end of a combo so stay alert even when he just throws out normal attacks.
