Walkthrough
Exit the building
| 1 | Slip out through the broken window. Go up the ladder and walk along the roof of the building. |

| 2 | Follow the path on the roof to the rope line and use it to cross to the tent. |
| 3 | Jump down to the tent. Afterwards, proceed to the building ahead through the broken window. Go to the far end of the building and slip out the window. |
| 4 | Make a right from the tent and up the stone wall beside it. Go through the gap in the wall and head for the stables. |
Reach your horse in the stables – Reach the sacred tree without being seen
| 1 | Jump up on the building ahead and walk along the roof to the cross to the next one. From there, use the rope line to reach the stables. |

| 2 | Climb down and get your horse from the stable. After the cutscene, head for the sacred tree through the village while avoiding the Mongols patrolling the area. |
| 3 | Move along the small cliff path on the left of the village. Drop down and hide in the grass as a Mongol patrol comes near. When they leave, continue moving through the grass and toward the other side of the path. |
| 4 | Approach the clearing between the two buildings (with the one on the right burning) and go through the window. Go through the sliding door near the ladder and through another window to exit the building. |
| 5 | Hide in the grass and move past the hunched Mongol. Head for the grassy patch to take cover from the patrol that will come by. Afterwards, cross the fallen tree that connects to the sacred tree. |
Investigate the area further – Ride with Yuna
| 1 | Examine the bodies at the sacred tree. After the cutscene, follow the trail of corpses going behind the tree. |

| 2 | After another cutscene, get your equipment form the chest. Leave the building and go to the lookout tower to meet up with Yuna. Afterwards, go up and survey the area for your new hideout. |
| 3 | Afterwards, get your horse from the stables and ride with Yuna to the frozen lake to reach Jogaku’s Temple. |
| 4 | Survey the frozen lake when you arrive. |
Approach the fishing village
| 1 | Take cover in the grass as you head near the fishing village. Kill the two guards by tent before going up the roof of the building covered in snow. |

| 2 | Walk along the rope line to the main building ahead. Use Focused Hearing to sense the Mongols guarding the prisoners in the area and dispose of them with stealth. Afterwards, go to the prisoners to free them. |
| 3 | Go with Yuna afterwards to another survey spot. When you are ready, proceed to the location of the signal fireworks and trigger them. Regroup with Yuna afterwards. |
Defeat the Mongols – Rescue the hostages at the temple
| 1 | Aim for the explosive barrels on the lake to thin out the numbers of the approaching Mongols. Finish of any remaining enemies that come close. |

| 2 | After taking out the Mongol force, head to the right side of the temple and approach the frozen waterfall. A Mongol leader and his troops will be waiting for you there. Take out the archers first before focusing on the other enemies. Save the leader for last. |
| 3 | Approach the hostages to rescue them and talk to Yuna. |
Strategy
The Mongols at the Temple
It is very important that you kill off the archers first during the temple battle as their arrows inflict poison. Once you have dealt with them, the fight will play out like any standard battle. Remember to focus on the swordsmen next as they will be the defeat next to the archers.
