What are Inari Shrines?
Inari shrines are special locations that allow you to unlock additional Charm slots when you pray at them. They are hidden throughout the game world.
How to Find Inari Shrines
While Inari shrines can be found on your while exploring the island of Tsushima, you can follow foxes that occasionally appear on the map to lead you to them.
Effects
Praying at three (3) Inari shrines allows unlocks an additional Charm slot. Because it is always advantageous to be able to equip as many charms as you can, taking the time to look for Inari shrines is worth it.

There are a total of 49 Inari Shrines or Fox Dens needed to be cleared in the game. In order to unlock Inari Shrines, Jin must do the “Unfinished Business” side tale.
