Tips and Tricks: Come Out To Play Mode
Come Out To Play Mode is a game mode in Grand Theft Auto V [GTA 5] where players are split into two roles. One role, the Runners, must out-think and outwit their opponents while trying not to get caught. The Hunters on the other hand must do everything they can to hunt the Runners. However, there’s a particular catch in Come Out To Play Mode: Runners have a single life but have access to all weapons. Hunters on the other hand have unlimited lives but with only the Sawed Off Shotgun. Runners must traverse on foot while Hunters must remain in vehicles.
Before entering Come Out To Play Mode, here are some tips and tricks.
Runners: Hide well
The one important thing to understand as a Runner is the extremely limited lifespan. With only one life, confronting the Hunter head on is foolhardy. One thing to do is to hide from the Hunter and watch their movements carefully. There may also be times that players can stun them or delay them, buying time for the other runners. However, this tactic requires the runner to remain extremely cool under pressure and at the same time know the environment.
Hunters: Bait the runners
Baiting the runners will not only save you time but also give the player a more plausible chance in taking out the enemy. Considering that the hunter is only armed with a shot gun, their shooting range is quite short. The Hunters can bait the enemies and anticipate their running path in order to take a clear shot.
Hunters & Runners: Know your routes
Knowing the routes gives the player an advantage in survival. It also allows players to anticipate their opponents as to where their running or how they will get there. Runners can use the route to their advantage by hiding amount the terrain. Hunters can cut off the Runners at certain routes if they know a shortcut.
