Tips and Tricks: Hunting Pack Mode
Hunting Pack Mode is a game mode in Grand Theft Auto V [GTA 5] that has two teams. There are two teams. One team has to escort a vehicle and the other one has to damage the vehicle. The escort team must keep the vehicle at a certain speed limit or else it explodes. The “hunting pack” or the opposing team must home in into the car and do everything they can to slow it down. This includes ramming the car or battering it until it hits below its required speed rate. The car also has a driver who will be the one driving the rigged car.
To win Hunting Pack, here are some tips and tricks:
Attackers: Coordinate your attacks
Because the Runner has a car with thick armor, it’s going to take more than one person to nudge it off course. Attackers need to coordinate their attacks in order to successfully drive the car into the dirt or into a wall, causing it to explode. To do this, the best way to time this is to wait for the Runner to take the curve. During that moment, attackers can dive in and try to throw the car off course.
Defenders: Surround the runner
By surrounding the runner, defenders can soften the impact the runner suffers from the attackers. In doing so, they can also counteract the bumping coming from the other cars by meeting them head on. The Defenders can also render the attackers out of commission by either meeting them head on. Or, they can also spin them out with a perfectly-timed nudge.
Runner: Stay in Open Spaces and Keep a Clean Racing Line
Having open spaces means that attackers have nowhere to hide. Also, this allows the defenders more room to maneuver themselves should the attackers attempt to throw one off course. Having a clean racing line also means being able to take curves smoothly and easily, closing the window of opportunity on the attackers should they attempt to throw one off the track.
