Tips and Tricks: Overtime Rumble Mode
Overtime Rumble is when players run off a ramp with parachute equipped cars. These cars then fly in the air to land on a target. As they continue to fly, the closer they are to the center, the more points. However, this takes a bit of timing especially since staggering effect may still apply to cars. So, here are some tips and tricks:
Don’t drive in immediately
Driving in immediately will put the player inside the impact zone. The impact zone will throw the player off aim, losing some points. This particular method also assures that they can also push their teammates into the ring. However, make sure that the player doesn’t shove their teammate off the ring completely.
Knock off your enemies
This is a legitimate tactic as it can throw off the enemies off the grid, lowering the amount of points. This then increases the difference between your score and the opposing team’s score. Not only that, it’ll allow players to also center themselves properly on the landing field.
Remain as stable as possible
Remaining stable as a car will save the player from losing valuable points. As they tilt, sometimes, the tires snag on the platform. And when they do, this may cause problems for landing and may slow the player down. The tires might get snagged, slowing down the car. Other times, the car may completely fall off which may cause you to lose the points.
