Best Upgrades

Rank 4

Recharge speed is better than repeat concussion if you don’t have access to ammo boxes to reload power cells.  However, the shot inflicts bonus damage on knocked down or floating enemies. With a power cell capacity of 5 however, this means that you can quickly take out foes without worrying about recharge time.

Rank 5

For Rank 5 skills, choosing either radius or damage & force will be determined by your gameplay style. Do you want to focus on area of effect? Choose radius. If you wish to take out specific units, choose Damage & Force.

Rank 6

Rank 6 depends on whether you want to focus on armored targets or shielded targets. Personally, I think armored targets, while common, aren’t as hard to fight. Anti-armor might not be as necessary. You might as well use incendiary ammo against them instead. Anti-shield, however, is crucial since a higher majority of your foes are shielded enemies.

Best used against

Non-armored targets, like raiders and kett chosen, are vulnerable to this ability.
