Hainly Abrams Profile

Hainly Abrams is the director of scientific research on Eos.  She went to Andromeda because back home, she was just filling tubes in some dead-end lab. People knew her as Stephan, but she had some struggles with her identity. Though she iterates that she knew what she could do and she knew what she wanted to do.

She mentions that her “new life” will be complete once her fiance is out of stasis. Then, her life will be complete. She just hopes Bradley will perform the wedding ceremony. She studies “the basic first-in scientific work;” which is soil, water and atmospherics. in addition she studies remnant tech because she needs to understand the tech in order to survive in Eos.

She admires Lieutenant Bradley and points out that “he is determined as hell.” In addition, she also mentions that Bradley has incredible faith in his team to get the job done. Furthermore, she tells that Bradley would carry the Prodromos outpost on his back if he had to.

  • Hainly is an openly transgender character as she openly revealed to Ryder her “deadname” after just meeting him for only a few seconds.
  • “As back home she was just filling tubes in some dead-end lab; ” this may indicate that Hainly was only an ordinary scientist back in the Milky Way.
