As the release of BioWare’s much-anticipated sci-fi action game Mass Effect Andromeda draws near (March 21, 2017), the company announces that multiplayer maps for the title will be given for free. This comes after a stunning blow to fans that the company has cancelled the previously-scheduled multiplayer beta.

BioWare will release multiplayer maps for free
In a similar vein to ME 3, ME Andromeda‘s multiplayer maps will be open for all once the game comes out, as confirmed by Aaryn Flynn, general manager at BioWare.
To give even more weight to how much playing online will mean to the overall experience of ME Andromeda, producer Fernando Melo notes that mulitplayer missions will actually have significant impact on the single-player campaign. These missions “will be your link between MP/SP”, adding that there will be rewards for playing in both modes. The company has kept mum about what these ‘rewards’ are going to be, making it all the more exciting to dive into networked play when the game comes out.
We’re still counting down on the day ME Andromeda officially hits the shelves. Be sure to check out our walkthroughs, guides, and tips and tricks page for this gigantic sci-fi action title here!
