What is Abra?

Abra is a psychic-type Pokemon that evolves into Kadabra at level 16, and into Alakazam when traded. Its final evolution, Alakazam, can mega evolve while holding the mega stone “Alakazite.” Alakazam transforms into a powerhouse by mega evolving since it raises its defense, special attack, special defense, and speed stats.

It has exceptional special attack and speed stats which makes it a glass cannon, allowing it to defeat slower opponents effectively in one hit.

Where do you find Abra?

Abra appears in two locations. It can be found early in the game in Hau’oli City and in the area on Melemele Island. It also appears in the tall grass in Route 2 (also on Melemele Island).

Note that it has a higher encounter rate in the tall grass behind the Malasada Shop in Hau’oli City.
