What is Basculin?
In Pokemon Sun and Moon, Basculin cannot be obtained unless the player has access to other Pokemon games and Poke Bank. However for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Basculin joins the Alola Pokedex as an obtainable Pokemon in one of the three fishing spots. It has two types namely the red-striped and the blue-striped. The red-striped form appears exclusively in Ultra Sun, whereas the blue-striped one spawns only in Ultra Moon.
Where do you find Basculin?
Basculin can be found in three different locations. Players can encounter Basculin in the bubbling fishing spot in Brooklet Hill on Akala Island which excludes the Totem Chamber. It can also spawn in the bubbling fishing spot in Malie Garden on Ula’ula Island. The last possible spawning point is the bubbling fishing spot in Vast Poni Canyon on Poni Island.
